As complex lifting machines, forklifts are made up of thousands of components. When one of these components stops functioning properly, it can severely reduce the effectiveness of the vehicle and can even make operating the lift extremely dangerous. Used parts provide an affordable option for returning these machines to working order. There are many different types of forklifts, and each has its own unique systems and components. For example, some forklifts are powered electrically with a battery while others utilize gasoline or propane.

There are also many different forklift brands which are also constructed differently from each other. This means that there are hundreds of thousands of different forklift parts and components. These parts include forklift motor components, crankshafts, axles, radiators, alternators, transmissions, brakes, hydraulic pumps, and much more.

When companies no longer need their forklifts or are completely replacing them, they will often sell their older forklifts. Even if these older forklifts as a whole do not function properly, the functional components can be removed and re-sold as replacement parts. Since these salvaged parts have been previously used, they are sold at a discounted price, making them much more affordable than brand new components.

Many forklift manufacturers will keep a diverse stock of these components on hand to quickly assist customers, and there are also many suppliers entirely dedicated to selling used forklift parts. Suppliers often stock parts for multiple brands and forklift types, and many can even offer repair and rebuilding services.

While some may be hesitant to purchase used parts, manufacturers and suppliers may offer warranties to ensure that your used parts serve you effectively and reliably, and many of these parts are almost brand new. Used forklift parts are an excellent option for affordable part replacement and repair.
